Alii Beach in Haleiwa is home to some of the best surf on the North Shore.

Baywatch Hawaii was filmed here and the actual set used is still there. On the day that this film was shot, the ABC TV show "Lost" was being filmed.

Alii Beach has been used as a backdrop for many surfing shots for both television as well as movies. You can see wide sweeping views of Mokuleia all the way to Kaena Point.

You can also see the highest point on Oahu Mt. Ka'ala, rising 4,10 feet above sea level.

Families enjoy using this beach for gatherings because of the large grassy area.
